#### For Excel 2016, 2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365
1. Open Excel and navigate to the **Insert** tab. 2. Click **Get Add-ins** (or **Home > Add-ins > More Add-ins**). 3. In the Office Add-ins store, search for **LinkyFlow**. 4. Click **Add** to install the add-in. 5. If prompted, sign in with your Microsoft account and follow the instructions.
#### For Excel 2013
1. Open Excel and go to the **Insert** tab. 2. Click **Apps for Office** or **My Apps**. 3. Search for **LinkyFlow** and follow the prompts to install.
Once installed, you will find LinkyFlow in your add-ins list.

From the LinkyFlow web app you can load any connection into the table, then send it to Excel in one click — and keep it live.

## Export to Excel
Once your data is loaded in the table, use the **Export Excel** button in the top toolbar of the workbench.
The arrow next to it also lets you export a plain **CSV** or **PDF**, but those are static files.

## What happens when you click Export Excel
For supported queries, **Export Excel** does not just download a static spreadsheet — it builds a workbook that is already wired to the LinkyFlow Excel add-in. When you open that workbook:
- The add-in reconnects the sheet to your data. - You can **Refresh** to pull the latest values, edit rows, and use live formulas. - Your spreadsheet stays in sync instead of going stale the moment you download it.

## Accept the add-in in Excel
The first time you open the exported workbook, Excel asks you to **trust and install the LinkyFlow add-in**. This is expected and required — accept the prompt so the live sync can work. Without the add-in, you only get a static snapshot of the data.

## Connect exchange API keys
LinkyFlow works with multiple exchanges. The steps are similar everywhere: create an API key, keep the secret safe, and enable only the permissions you need.

### Binance

### HTX (Huobi)
1. Go to <https://www.htx.com/en-us/apikey/> and create a new API key. 2. Start with **Read** permission only, then add trading permissions if needed.

### Add the key to LinkyFlow
In Excel, open **LinkyFlow > Settings** and paste your API Key and Secret Key.
- **API Key** goes into “API Key”. - **Secret Key** goes into “Secret Key”.

**API restrictions**
- **Enable Reading:** Required to access account data. - **Enable Spot & Margin Trading:** Needed only if you want to place orders from Excel. - **Enable Futures:** Required only for futures trading. - **Enable Withdrawals:** Not required for LinkyFlow. Keep disabled for safety. - **Enable Internal Transfer / Universal Transfer / Symbol Whitelist:** Optional advanced settings.

**IP access restrictions**
- **Unrestricted (less secure):** Allows any IP address. - **Restrict to trusted IPs (recommended):** More secure, but requires a fixed IP.
LinkyFlow runs through AWS servers (Frankfurt). If you need a fixed IP for your exchange, contact us and we will help you.

**Recommended setup for LinkyFlow**
- **Enable Reading** to access your portfolio and reports. - **Enable Spot & Margin Trading** only if you want to create orders from Excel.
It's fine to start with a read-only key and upgrade later if you need trading.

With your exchange connected, you can build dashboards in minutes using the Page Builder.
1. In Excel, open the **LinkyFlow** tab and select **Page**. 2. Pick a template (single symbol, portfolio snapshot, funding flows, multi-symbol watchlist, multi-exchange comparison). 3. Customize the tables and charts to match your workflow. 4. Save your page configuration for reuse.
Tip: templates are fully editable, so you can duplicate a page and adapt it to new symbols or exchanges.

Compare a symbol across exchanges

All reports are based on Excel functions. The sidebar helps you create them, but you can also build formulas manually and attach them to any Excel cell.

Each formula is constructed as follows:
1. **Type** (e.g., `=LF.binance.getTicker24h`) where `binance` is the connection and `getTicker24h` is the function.
2. **Arguments:** There are three arguments:
    - **Selection:** The filter to apply to the function.
    - **View:** The list of fields that will be displayed.
    - **Options:** Options like `"headless"` (true/false), meaning whether to display the header in the response.


**Examples of function usage:**

## What this dashboard tracks
The Sales Dashboard pulls your Shopify order data into Excel so you can monitor revenue, order volume, and product performance without leaving your spreadsheet.

## Key metrics
- **Total revenue** — gross revenue by day, week, or custom period - **Order volume** — number of orders and average order value (AOV) - **Top products** — best sellers by units sold and by revenue contribution - **Sales by channel** — breakdown across online store, POS, and draft orders - **Discount impact** — total discounts applied and their effect on margin

## Why these KPIs matter
Revenue tells you what came in, but AOV and channel mix tell you *why*. A drop in AOV with stable order count means customers are buying cheaper items — that is a catalog or pricing signal. Channel breakdown reveals whether your POS or online store is driving growth. Discount impact shows whether promotions actually move volume or just erode margin without adding orders.

## Data sources
This dashboard uses the `orders` and `order_line_items` objects from the Shopify connection. You select the date range and granularity (daily, weekly, monthly) as query parameters. Refresh the sheet to pull the latest data.

The WooCommerce connection brings your WooCommerce store data into Excel. Load products, orders, and customers as structured tables, analyse them with your formulas, and push changes back to your store without leaving the spreadsheet.

This guide walks you through generating WooCommerce API keys and connecting your store to LinkyFlow so you can load and manage your data in Excel.

## Requirements
- A self-hosted WordPress site with WooCommerce installed - Your WordPress admin access (you need to reach WooCommerce settings) - Your store must be served over **HTTPS** — the REST API blocks plain HTTP requests - LinkyFlow Excel add-in installed ([download from AppSource](./download-addin))

## Step 1 — Generate WooCommerce API keys
1. In your WordPress admin, go to **WooCommerce → Settings** 2. Click the **Advanced** tab 3. Click **REST API** in the sub-menu 4. Click **Add key** 5. Fill in:
   - **Description**: `LinkyFlow` (or any label you recognise)
   - **User**: select your admin account or a dedicated API user
   - **Permissions**: choose `Read/Write` to enable both loading and updating data, or `Read` for read-only access
6. Click **Generate API key** 7. Copy the **Consumer key** (starts with `ck_`) and **Consumer secret** (starts with `cs_`) — they are shown only once
> Keep your consumer key and secret safe. Anyone with these credentials can read and modify your store data.

## Step 2 — Add your store connection in LinkyFlow
1. Open Excel and launch the **LinkyFlow** add-in from the taskpane 2. Go to **Settings → Connections → Add connection** 3. Select **WooCommerce** 4. Enter:
   - **Store URL**: the full URL of your store (e.g. `https://myshop.com`)
   - **Consumer key**: the `ck_...` key from step 1
   - **Consumer secret**: the `cs_...` secret from step 1
5. Click **Save** — LinkyFlow will verify the credentials against your store 6. Give the connection a name (e.g. `My Shop`) — this is what you will use as the `link` parameter in queries

## Step 3 — Load data into Excel
Once connected, open the **LinkyFlow** panel and:
1. Select a template (Sales Dashboard, Product Catalog, Customers, etc.) or build a custom query 2. Pick your WooCommerce connection as the data source 3. Choose the fields you want and apply any filters (status, date range, search) 4. Click **Load** — the data appears as a structured Excel table

## Troubleshooting
**401 Unauthorized** — Your consumer key or secret is wrong, or the key has been deleted. Regenerate the key in WooCommerce settings and update the connection in LinkyFlow.
**403 Forbidden** — The key user does not have sufficient permissions. Assign the key to a WordPress admin.
**Connection failed / SSL error** — Your store is not on HTTPS. Enable an SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt is free) and retry.
**Empty results** — Your store has no data matching the current filters. Check the status or date filters in the query panel.

## What you can do

## Loading products
Use the **Products** query and pick the fields you need — name, SKU, status, price, regular price, sale price, stock, type, and more. Filter before loading by **status** (publish, draft, etc.), **category**, **SKU**, or a free-text **search** so you only pull the slice you need.
Variable products expose their variations through the **Product Variations** query (pass the parent product ID).

## Editing prices
WooCommerce stores prices as text and computes the displayed `price` from `regular_price` and `sale_price`:
- **Regular Price** and **Sale Price** are the editable fields. - **Price** is read-only — it is derived by WooCommerce and ignored on update.
Edit **Regular Price** / **Sale Price** in the rows and publish. LinkyFlow sends the values in the format WooCommerce expects, so a number typed in a currency cell is accepted without errors.

## How WooCommerce stock works
WooCommerce only tracks a stock quantity when **stock management is enabled** on a product or variation. If management is off, WooCommerce ignores any quantity you send and only stores a stock **status** (in stock / out of stock / on backorder).
The three fields you work with:
- **Manage Stock** — turns quantity tracking on or off - **Stock Quantity** — the number on hand (only applied when Manage Stock is on) - **Stock Status** — in stock / out of stock / on backorder

## Bulk stock updates
Load **Products** (or **Product Variations** for variable products), edit the **Stock Quantity** column for the rows you need, and publish.
You don't have to touch the **Manage Stock** column: when a row supplies a stock quantity, LinkyFlow enables stock management automatically — exactly like typing a quantity in the WooCommerce admin. WooCommerce then recomputes the stock status (e.g. a positive quantity flips the product to *in stock*).
To go the other way — managing only the status without tracking counts — set **Manage Stock** to FALSE and edit **Stock Status** directly.

This guide walks you through getting your Stripe secret key and connecting your account to LinkyFlow so you can load and manage your data in Excel.

## Requirements
- A Stripe account - A secret API key (live `sk_live_…` or test `sk_test_…`), or a restricted key

## Step 1 — Copy your secret key
1. Open the [Stripe Dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys) and go to **Developers → API keys**.
2. Copy your **Secret key**. Use **Test mode** keys first if you want to try LinkyFlow without touching live data.
3. For least-privilege access, click **Create restricted key** and grant only the resources you need (for example, read access to Customers, Invoices, and Charges, and write access where you plan to publish).

## Step 2 — Add the connection in Excel
1. In Excel, open LinkyFlow and go to **Connections → Add connection**.
2. Choose **stripe** from the provider list.
3. Paste your **Secret key** and continue.
4. Give the connection a friendly alias (for example, `Stripe Live` or `Stripe Test`) and save.

LinkyFlow validates the key with a lightweight `GET /v1/balance` call. If the key is valid, the connection turns active and you can start loading data.

## Step 3 — Load your first query
1. Insert a LinkyFlow query and pick the **stripe** provider.
2. Choose a query such as **Customers** or **Invoices**, select your connection in the **Link** field, and run it.

## Load subscriptions
1. Insert a LinkyFlow query, pick **stripe**, and choose the **Subscriptions** query.
2. Filter by **customer**, **status** (`active`, `trialing`, `past_due`, `canceled`, `all`), or **price**.
3. The table shows the current period start and end, so you can see upcoming renewals.

## Create a subscription
Add a row with a **customer** id, a **Price ID** (`items.0.price`), and an optional **quantity**, then publish. To cancel a subscription, delete its row — Stripe cancels it immediately.

## Manage products and prices
- Use the **Products** query to create and update catalog products.
- Use the **Prices** query to attach prices. Set a **Recurring Interval** (`day`, `week`, `month`, `year`) to make a price recurring.
- Prices cannot be deleted in Stripe — deactivate them by setting **Active** to `false` on update.

2. Review the permissions LinkyFlow requests (inventory, orders, finances, account) and click **Agree**.
3. eBay sends you back to LinkyFlow and the connection is created automatically — no token to copy.

## Step 3 — Load your first query
1. Insert a LinkyFlow query and pick the **ebay** provider.
2. Choose a query such as **Inventory Items** or **Orders**, select your connection in the **Link** field, and run it.
3. Use the **Limit** control and the page arrows to page through results, or pick **All results** to load everything in one fetch.

## What you can do
Load your eBay inventory items and offers into Excel rows, create new records or edit existing ones in bulk, then publish the changes back to eBay in a single batch.

## Load inventory items
1. Insert a LinkyFlow query, pick **ebay**, and choose the **Inventory Items** query.
2. Run the query, then use **Limit** and the page arrows to page through results, or **All results** to load every SKU at once.

## Create or update inventory items
- Inventory items are keyed by **SKU**. Each row must include a `sku`.
- Creating and updating are the same idempotent operation — LinkyFlow sends a `PUT` to `inventory_item/{sku}`, so re-publishing a row simply replaces it.
- Edit the columns you want to change (quantity, condition, title, brand, MPN) and publish — LinkyFlow batches the changes to eBay and reports a pass/fail result per row.

## Work with offers
1. Choose the **Offers** query. eBay requires a **SKU** filter, so set the SKU you want to inspect, then run the query.
2. Create an offer by adding a row with a **sku**, **marketplaceId**, and **format** (`FIXED_PRICE` or `AUCTION`); set the price under **Price** and **Currency**.
3. Rows **with** an `offerId` update the existing offer; rows **without** one create a new offer.

> Quantities are integers; prices are sent as strings (eBay stores `"19.99"`). LinkyFlow coerces these for you.

## What you can do
Load your eBay orders, transactions, and payouts into Excel to track sales and reconcile your finances. These resources are read-only.

## Track orders
1. Insert a LinkyFlow query, pick **ebay**, and choose the **Orders** query.
2. Optionally set a **Filter** expression (for example a `creationdate` range) to narrow the results, then run the query.
3. Use the columns total, fulfillment status, and payment status with your own pivot tables and formulas.

## Reconcile transactions and payouts
1. Choose the **Transactions** query to load the monetary movements from the eBay Finances API. Filter by status with a **Filter** expression if needed.
2. Choose the **Payouts** query to see payouts to your bank account, including the amount and instrument.
3. The Finances API is served from a different host (`apiz.ebay.com`) — LinkyFlow handles that transparently.
