Cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (local storage, tracking scripts) are used on the LinkyFlow website, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way but store the data inside your browser rather than sending it back to a server with every request.
We only use the technologies described below. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell the information collected through them.
1. Strictly necessary
These are required for the website and your account to work. They cannot be switched off through our interface.
- Authentication token — When you sign in, your session token is stored in your browser's local storage (not in a cookie). It keeps you signed in and lets the application call our API on your behalf. Removing it signs you out. When you use the connected applications (web, Excel add-in, Shopify), an authentication session cookie may also be set to maintain your logged-in session.
2. Analytics and performance
These help us understand how the site and product are used so we can improve them. They are only enabled when the corresponding service is configured.
- Google Analytics (Google) — Sets cookies such as
_ga,_ga_<id>and_gidto measure audience, page views, navigation paths and performance in an aggregated way. When you are signed in, your user identifier is attached so we can analyse usage across sessions. - PostHog (hosted in the EU) — Sets cookies such as
ph_<key>_posthogto record product events (which features are used, button clicks, page views) and sessions. When you are signed in, your user identifier is attached. This data is used to improve the product.
3. Functional and support
- Tawk.to (live chat) — Sets cookies such as
__tawkuuid,TawkConnectionTimeandssto run the live chat widget, recognise returning visitors and keep the context of your conversation with our support team.
4. Error monitoring
- Sentry — We use Sentry to detect and diagnose technical errors. Sentry does not set cookies on your device; it collects diagnostic data (such as the error, the page and your browser) when something goes wrong, so we can fix it.
5. Managing cookies
By using LinkyFlow, you consent to the use of the cookies and technologies described above. You can control or delete them at any time:
- Adjust or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, delete existing ones, or be notified when a cookie is set.
- Clear your browser's local storage to remove the authentication token (this will sign you out).
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
You can learn more about cookies and how to manage them at AboutCookies.org.
Please note that blocking the strictly necessary technologies will prevent you from signing in and using core features of the website.
