LinkyFlow for Shopify Partners

LinkyFlow for Shopify Partners

The Shopify Partner connection reads the Partner API of one Partner organization into Excel and the LinkyFlow web app: the transactions behind your earnings, the timeline of your apps, and the subscription a shop holds on one of your apps.

What it is not. Partner data is about your apps and your earnings. It is not any store's admin data: to read a store's orders or products, connect the store itself. It gives no list of all stores, and not everything the Partner Dashboard shows. Shopify states that transaction information is for analytics purposes only and should not be used for accounting or financial reporting: it is not an official accounting document.

Key capabilities

Transactions

Load what impacts your earnings: app subscription, one-time and usage sales, app credits and adjustments, service and theme sales and their adjustments, referrals, taxes. Filter by app, shop, shop domain, type or creation date. Each sale states its gross amount, its net amount and the fee Shopify retained; a referral, a tax or a legacy transaction states an amount. Amounts stay the decimal Shopify wrote, with their currency. The theme's name of a theme sale is read only when you ask for it, since Shopify keeps themes behind the Manage themes permission.

Events

Read the timeline of your apps: installs, uninstalls, charges, earnings, subscription changes and credits. Filter by app, by shop (with its app), by event type, or by a window of up to 365 days. Shopify answers the last 30 days when you name none.

Active Subscription

Name an app and a shop to read the Shopify App Pricing subscription the shop holds: its billing period, its current cycle, its items, its pending update. No row means no active subscription. Only public apps have one.

App and API versions

Read one of your apps by its ID (the Partner API lists none), and the versions of the Partner API Shopify still supports.

The one action

Cancel Subscription, in the Actions pane of the web app or the add-in, on an Active Subscription row. It needs the View financials permission and cannot be undone from LinkyFlow. It cancels at the end of the billing cycle unless you say otherwise; prorating cannot be combined with that, nor with skipping the final usage charge. A cancellation is read back when the client also has Manage apps. One that went unanswered tells you to check before sending it again: it is never sent twice by itself. ChatGPT and Claude cannot run it.

Where it works

The web workbench, the add-in's query panel, the Actions pane, and ChatGPT or Claude through MCP, which can read but not cancel. There is no =LF formula for this connection. No agent runs on it: it holds no catalogue and no stock.

Limits

  • A client may send four requests a second. LinkyFlow waits and retries a read once; beyond that it tells you to wait.
  • Reads are at most 100 rows a page, and "All results" walks at most 200 pages.
