How to download and set-up LinkyFlow add-in

Installation

First things first, let's get LinkyFlow on board your Excel environment. Follow these steps:

#### **For Excel 2016, 2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365:**

1. Open Excel and navigate to the 'Insert' tab.
2. Click on 'Get Add-ins' or select 'Home' > 'Add-ins' > 'More Add-ins.'
3. In the Office Add-ins box, go to 'Store,' and use the search box to find LinkyFlow.
4. Click on the LinkyFlow add-in to read more about it.
5. Click 'Add' to install the add-in.
6. If prompted, sign in with your Microsoft account and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

#### **For Excel 2013:**

1. Open Excel and go to the 'Insert' tab.
2. Click on 'Apps for Office' or 'My Apps.'
3. In the 'Apps for Office' box, search for LinkyFlow.
4. Click on the LinkyFlow add-in and follow the prompts to install it.

The key is now created, with API Key and Secret Key. 2 important points:

* The secret key is your password, keep it aside and never share it with anyone
* Keep the API restrictions to "Allow Read". This limits access to read-only and **does not authorize operations on the account.** So no risk of unexpected transfers.

**API Restrictions:**

* ***Enable Reading:*** Allows the API key to access and read information from the associated account.
* *Enable Spot & Margin Trading:* Grants permission for spot and margin trading using the API key.
* *Enable Margin Loan, Repay & Transfer:* Permits the API key to initiate margin loans, repay them, and transfer funds related to margin trading.
* *Enable Futures:* Authorizes the API key to engage in futures trading.
* *Enable Internal Transfer:* Allows the API key to perform internal transfers within the associated account.
* *Permits Universal Transfer:* Provides the capability for universal transfers, likely across different types of assets or accounts.
* *Enable Withdrawals:* Grants the API key the ability to initiate withdrawals from the associated account.
* *Enable Symbol Whitelist:* Permits the API key to manage a whitelist of symbols, likely for specific trading pairs or assets.

**IP Access Restrictions:**

* *Unrestricted (Less Secure):* This setting allows the API key to be accessed from any IP address. It is considered less secure as it opens the possibility of unauthorized access.
* *Restrict access to trusted IPs only (Recommended):* The recommended setting restricts API key access to trusted IP addresses only, enhancing security by limiting access to specified, trusted locations.



F﻿or LinkyFlow, you need 

* **Enable Reading** to be able to access your own wallet 
* **Enable Spot & Margin Trading** to be able to create order from Excel

I﻿P Access restrictions won't work, because to be able to access Binance, LinkyFlow is going through an AWS server (located to Francfort). If you need a fixed IP, you can directly contact us.

I﻿t's totally OK to start with a Read Only api key, you will be able in the futur to create a new api key with Read & Write permission, then remove your read only api key and add your read & write key.

Symbol Multi-Provider

All reports are based on Excel functions, the sidebar is a facilitator for creating these functions, but it is also possible to generate them from scratch and select an existing Excel cell.

Each formula is constructed as follows:

1. **Type** (e.g., `=LF.binance.getTicker24h`) where `binance` is the provider, and `getTicker24h` is the function called. 
2. **Arguments:** There are three arguments:
    * **Selection:** The filter that is going to be applied to the functions.
    * **View:** The list of fields that are going to be displayed.
    * **Options:** Options like `"headless"` (true/false), meaning if it is going to display the header in the answer or not.
